Cherry Cream Cheese Pie

This is a dream of a cream pie. Mostly it is dream whip and cream cheese with cherries on top. Toasted pecans add a perfect crunch and salt.

Ingredients
- 8 oz Philadelphia cream cheese (Softened)
- 2 cup(s) powdered sugar (sifted)
- 1 tsp vanilla (for dreamwhip)
- 1 can(s) Cherry Pie Filling
- 1 cup(s) Toasted Pecans (add butter to nuts and bake at 200 degrees until toasted.)
- 2 each Pie Shells (pre-bake)
- 1 each 1 Dream Whip BOX (2 packages inside it) (This is enough for 2 pies.)
- 1 cup(s) milk (for dreamwhip)
Instructions
Toast 1.5 cups of pecans at 350 for 6 minutes.
Add toasted nuts to shells.
Mix in large bowl Dream Whip according to package directions with blender.
Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar together with blender.
Add Dream Whip and fold together (don’t beat)
Pour cream cheese mixture over cooled crust.
Top with cherry pie filling.
Refrigerate.
